Bollywood Star Anushka Sharma Invests in Agilitas, Partners for One8 Yoga Co-Branding Venture
Agilitas Partners with Anushka Sharma for Yoga-Focused Activewear Line
Agilitas, a sportswear startup, has announced a significant partnership with actor and entrepreneur Anushka Sharma. Sharma will be joining Agilitas as an investor and collaborator for the launch of One8 Yoga, a new category under the One8 brand. This move marks a strategic shift for Agilitas, as the company looks to expand its offerings beyond performance sportswear and tap into the growing demand for wellness and athleisure products.
One8 Yoga is set to launch on June 21, International Day of Yoga, and will be a key component of Agilitas' push into the wellness category. Sharma's involvement will bring a new perspective to the brand, with a focus on creating products that support movement and fit seamlessly into everyday routines.
For Agilitas, Sharma's entry represents a significant opportunity to extend its brand into a larger movement around wellness, mindfulness, and everyday fitness. "Anushka joining goes much deeper than an investment," said Abhishek Ganguly, co-founder and CEO of Agilitas Sports. "With One8 Yoga, we are extending that idea into a larger movement around wellness, mindfulness and everyday fitness."

Agilitas was founded by Abhishek Ganguly, Atul Bajaj, and Amit Prabhu, former Puma India executives. The company has made significant strides in recent years, acquiring long-term Lotto licensing rights across several markets and purchasing footwear manufacturer Mochiko Shoes in 2023. Earlier this year, Virat Kohli joined the company as an investor and co-founder after Agilitas brought the One8 brand into its portfolio.
Backed by Convergent Finance and Nexus Venture Partners, Agilitas is building a vertically integrated sportswear platform spanning manufacturing, branding, retail, and distribution.
Investor Takeaway
Investors should consider the growing demand for wellness and athleisure products in the FMCG sector.
