Black Box Shares Rise After Company Reports 7 Percent Increase in Net Profit

Black Box shares settled nearly 1 percent higher on Tuesday after the company reported a rise in consolidated net profit for the March quarter. The company posted a 7 percent increase in net profit at Rs 64.76 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, compared with Rs 60.47 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

The company's revenue from operations rose 9.4 percent to Rs 1,691 crore in the January-March quarter, against Rs 1,545 crore in the year-ago period. This significant increase in revenue demonstrates the company's growth and stability in the market.

Black Box reported a substantial increase in its order backlog, marking a significant milestone for the company. The company closed FY26 with an order backlog of around Rs 7,000 crore, marking a 57 percent year-on-year increase. This increase in order backlog is a testament to the company's strong position in the market and its ability to secure significant contracts.

The company secured new orders worth Rs 3,331 crore during the quarter, compared with total order bookings of Rs 553 crore during the first nine months of FY26. This significant increase in new orders highlights the company's ability to secure major contracts and expand its customer base.

Notable order wins during the quarter included a Rs 663 crore data centre services engagement from a US-based global hyperscaler, another contract worth Rs 277 crore, and a multi-year strategic engagement valued at over Rs 795 crore with a major international airport in the US.

The company's shares have seen significant gains in recent times, with data from BSE Analytics indicating that the company's shares have gained nearly 78 percent in the last one month. On the NSE, the stock settled at Rs 985 per share, up 0.91 percent.
