Bajel Projects Sees 11% Surge as Company Secures Major Power Transmission Orders
On Wednesday, 29 April, small-cap stock Bajel Projects experienced a significant intraday advance of 11%, reaching a high of ₹200.35 per share. The company's stock price saw this boost after it secured multiple orders for Ultra Mega EPC projects in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
According to a recent exchange filing, Bajel Projects has been awarded a significant order for the construction of two contiguous sections of 500 kV overhead transmission lines. The project is valued at approximately ₹400 crore and is scheduled to be executed within 11 months from the commencement date. This project is part of a flagship national grid reinforcement programme aimed at strengthening the high-voltage backbone in the MENA region and enabling reliable power evacuation to support growing economic and industrial demand.
The company's Managing Director & CEO, Rajesh Ganesh, stated that winning these orders is a defining moment for Bajel Projects, reflecting global confidence in the company's engineering capability, project execution rigour, and ability to deliver complex high-voltage infrastructure in international markets. This order further consolidates Bajel Projects' position as a trusted international EPC partner in the high-voltage transmission segment, complementing its strong domestic order book and recent international wins.
