Air India Express Resumes Flights to Key West Asia Destinations
Air India Express, a key player in the region, has resumed flights to Qatar and Bahrain, as well as additional services to the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, following the easing of airspace restrictions attributed to the ongoing West Asia conflict.
The conflict has had a significant impact on the operations of airlines, including Air India Express, which relies heavily on West Asia as a key market. Despite the challenges, the airline has announced a resumption of scheduled flights to various cities in the region, albeit with a reduced number of services.
According to a statement issued by the airline on Thursday, flights to Doha (Qatar) and Bahrain have been reinstated, with additional services to cities in the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. The airline will continue to operate to Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah (the UAE), Jeddah, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Muscat (Oman), reconnecting India to the Gulf region through established routes.
