ACME Solar Shares Rise 3% After Signing 25-Year Power Purchase Pact
ACME Solar shares experienced a 3% increase in intraday trade on the BSE on Tuesday, 26 May, following the announcement of a 25-year power purchase pact with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The agreement, which has a size of 300 MW at a tariff of ₹6.28 per unit, is a significant development for the company.
ACME Solar Holdings' share price opened at ₹300.20 against its previous close of ₹301 and climbed 2.7% to an intraday high of ₹309.20. By 1:10 pm, the stock was 1% up at ₹304, indicating a potential for extended gains for the fourth consecutive session.
The power purchase agreement (PPA) was signed by ACME Solar's wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Renewtech Sixth Private Limited, with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). SECI is a AAA-rated central government enterprise. The project was awarded to ACME Solar under SECI's FDRE tranche-VII tender, which was issued under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) guidelines. The e-reverse auction was conducted on 2 February 2026, and the letter of award (LOA) was dated 10 February 2026.

With this development, ACME Solar's contracted portfolio stands at 6,570 MW out of a total of 8,070 MW. This is a significant milestone for the company.
